An LSD is an essential item for FF sports cars. The helical LSD that is already installed in the standard state balances sportiness and comfort, so it lacks performance in sports driving.

Therefore, we developed a mechanical LSD to improve sportiness.

After repeated actual driving tests on various stages, the differential type is 1.5WAY, the differential cam angle is 50° on the ON side/20° on the OFF side, and the initial torque is 5.0-6.0kg.

In addition, by adopting a clutch plate that reduces chattering noise, it has a higher comfort than conventional mechanical LSDs.

This LSD will bring out the full cornering performance of the Civic Type R.

LSD is a must item for front-engine front-wheel drives. The original helical LSD installed in the stock vehicle is designed to accommodate both sports driving and comfort at an acceptable level. We wanted to make it better, especially for performance focused driving.

Our solution is a custom designed mechanical LSD. After numerous testing under various driving stages, we are proud to offer our 1.5 WAY mechanical LSD, ON 50°/OFF 20°cam angle settings with initial torque setting of 5.0~6.0kg.
