During sports driving where the engine speed fluctuates violently, the normal radiator hose will collapse like a straw due to suction pressure, vibration, etc. Especially when you replace it with a large radiator, the tendency increases because it absorbs a lot of water. In sports driving, the phenomenon of "crushing" at suction pressure is more problematic than bursting at high water pressure. Once "crushing" occurs, it does not return even at idle rotation, and it heats up immediately. SPOON produced a thick SEP material for exclusive use of the car model with high deformation resistance like the aluminum pipe for racing.
