The shape of the stay adopts a design with the motif of "crane", which is the symbol of SPOON, and has a swan neck shape that brings the optimum aerodynamic effect for high-powered vehicles.
The principle of GT wing downforce generation is mainly due to the pressure difference caused by the difference in flow speed between the upper and lower sides of the wing. Slowing the upper air velocity and faster lower air velocity creates powerful downforce, and the swan-neck shape that suspends the wing from above makes perfect sense.
In addition, by repeating tests on the circuit and optimizing the strength of the wing stay, the angle of attack of the wing is automatically bent at the end of the straight to reduce the drag.
The wing, body mount, and wing tip plate are made of carbon, and the angle can be adjusted in 5 steps.
