Hardrace HS Spec Coilovers – Honda S2000 AP1/AP2
The Hardrace HS Spec Coilovers are designed to deliver precision handling and durability for both spirited street driving and motorsport use. Featuring a 44mm piston with 33 levels of damping adjustment, these coilovers allow drivers to fine-tune comfort and performance, with noticeable changes every 2–3 clicks.
Built to withstand the harshest conditions, the 52mm damper body is made from high-strength steel with an electroplated coating to resist corrosion. High-quality oil seals and specially formulated damper oil prevent foaming and maintain consistent damping, even under high heat. The piston rod, crafted from S45C steel, is strengthened through Thermal Refining and High-Frequency Induction Hardening, ensuring rigidity and long service life.
Springs are made from SAE9254 steel for superior tensile strength, while MacPherson strut applications include a wave spring washer between the locking collar and bottom mount, preventing loosening under load. Together, these features make the Hardrace HS Spec Coilovers a reliable and high-performance suspension upgrade for the S2000.
