HKS Intercooler Kit – Honda Civic Type R FK8
The Honda K20C engine produces an impressive 320PS from just 2.0L of displacement, with boost pressures exceeding 150kPa. But this high output puts heavy strain on the stock intercooler system. Under demanding conditions, intake air temperatures can rise to nearly 90°C, reducing power and efficiency.
The factory intercooler also suffers from a restrictive piping layout with sharp bends that disrupt airflow and cause boost pressure loss. To overcome these limitations, HKS has developed a high-performance intercooler designed to dramatically improve cooling, airflow, and pressure retention—ensuring consistent performance on both street and track.

- Vehicle-specific fitment – engineered for the K20C engine bay; only minor trimming to fan shroud or adjacent rubber parts may be required.
