HKS Type-S Rear Wing – Honda Civic Type R FL5
Developed specifically for the Honda Civic Type R FL5, the HKS Rear Wing combines functional aerodynamics with a motorsport-inspired design that complements the FL5’s wide, muscular factory bodywork.
Constructed from lightweight, high-rigidity dry carbon fibre, the rear wing enhances the FL5’s aggressive appearance while providing increased aerodynamic performance and rear-end stability at higher speeds.
The wing features a swan-neck mounting configuration, a design widely adopted in modern motorsport. By positioning the wing supports above the main wing element, airflow across the underside remains as unobstructed as possible, helping maximise aerodynamic efficiency and downforce.
The main wing element and end plates are integrally moulded as a single structure, creating a clean, seamless appearance while maintaining the rigidity required for high-speed driving.
The angle of attack can be adjusted through six different positions, allowing the aerodynamic characteristics of the wing to be tailored to different driving conditions.
Increase the aerodynamic load for improved high-speed rear grip on track, or select a lower setting for a more balanced setup during road driving.
This adjustability makes the HKS Rear Wing suitable for both street-driven and track-focused FL5 builds.
Manufactured from dry carbon fibre, the HKS Rear Wing combines low weight with high structural rigidity. The exposed carbon construction adds a distinctive motorsport aesthetic while complementing other carbon-fibre components on the FL5.
Attention to detail extends to the wing supports, which feature a laser-marked HKS logo for a subtle yet premium finishing touch.
