The Mugen Front Carbon Aero Fenders (GROUP B) are designed to integrate seamlessly with the Mugen Carbon Aero Bonnet for the Honda Civic Type R FL5. Their angles and widths are precisely matched to the bonnet’s air outlet ducts, creating a cohesive, continuous aero line that enhances both visual flow and aerodynamic purpose.
For the best aesthetic effect, Mugen recommends painting the fenders in full body colour while leaving the duct sections exposed. This maintains a premium motorsport look by highlighting the carbon weave where airflow management is most functional.
Constructed from high quality CFRP, each fender delivers meaningful weight savings, approximately 1.7 kg lighter than the OEM unit, while retaining the rigidity and durability required for high-performance driving. The direct-fit design ensures seamless installation using factory mounting points.
