Spoon Sports Front and Rear Motion Control Beam – Honda Civic Type R FK8
The Spoon Sports Motion Control Beam (MCB) is engineered to enhance both handling precision and ride comfort for the 10th generation Honda Civic Type R (FK8). Unlike conventional braces that only increase rigidity, the MCB not only reinforces the chassis but also absorbs small vibrations thanks to its advanced damper and friction-plate design.
Installed at the front lower section and inside the rear bumper, the MCB specifically targets torsional stress points where body twist is most likely to occur. This reduces unwanted flex during cornering, resulting in sharper steering response and improved stability, while still delivering the comfort needed for daily driving.
Developed using Spoon’s decades of racing experience, including touring car competitions, the MCB incorporates cutting-edge friction-damper technology originally developed by Aisin and proven in applications for Nismo and TRD. The result is an ideal balance between rigidity, reduced vibration, and high-quality ride feel, perfect for drivers who want motorsport-derived performance without sacrificing everyday usability.
