Developed using CFD analysis and race-proven experience, the Spoon Sports Rear Aero Bumper Bar for the FK8 Civic Type R is engineered for both performance and style. Designed as a full bumper replacement, it integrates aerodynamic efficiency with lightweight construction for track and street enthusiasts.
The rear bumper adopts FRP material for strength and weight savings, with the diffuser section available in either FRP or carbon fiber. A resin grille is positioned in the center to reduce the “parachute effect,” while the side grilles release wheel house pressure, generating additional downforce. Combined with the diffuser’s rectification effect, these elements significantly enhance rear-end stability at speed.
